Here's Quinn's proposal: Focus: Art in eras of suppression (the interaction between politics and creative mediums). Media: blog. I want the information to be easily and readily accessible to those who are interested, and the internet provides the best option for this. Blogs also have freedoms that can't be obtained through traditional writing methods: links, videos, polls, data. If my research takes me on a tangent where I research a Czech movie director from the 1970s, I want to be able to include a clip from his/her work. Evaluation: There should be at least a total of ten posts on the site by the end of the semester, five per half. This is assuming each post is about two pages of written work. If my posts end up being shorter, I'll need to compensate by having more posts up on the site. Each post should have a theme connected to my focus; however, I want to maintain some freedom to allow for creativity. Schedule: I will have approximately 1 post for each class period for this half of the semester.
And re: evaluation: " the value of my writing can be judged by the amount of research put into each post, the relevancy it has to my topic, and the clarity of the writing."
